This post will show you how to do dip powder manicure one nail after another, it may takes longer time. If you are a beginner to dip manicure, you may want to check it out.

1. Prep nails: trim, file and wash. Push back the cuticles gently.

2. Apply a thin layer of base coat, then dip into CLEAR powder right away. (if you do manicures a lot or your nails are thin & brittle, you’d better dip the clear powder at first. Otherwise, you can skip this step)

3. Apply a thin layer of base coat, and dip into COLOURED powder right away. Tap the finger and use the brush to remove excess powder.

4. Repeat step 3.

5. Apply a thin layer of base coat, then dip into CLEAR powder right away.

Tap the finger and use the brush to remove excess powder.

6. Apply the 1st layer of activator, wait a couple of minutes until it dries completely. Buff the nail’s surface, then remove the dust using a brush. Wash your hand or wipe the nail with alcohol.

7. Brush a layer of activator. Wait a bit longer until it dries completely. Then gently wipe the surface of the nail using a piece of lint-free cloth. This could avoid the contact of the top-coat brush in the next step with the activator on the nail surface.

8. Apply a thin layer of top coat with quick strokes, remember the tip of nails. Wipe the top coat brush with a lint-free cloth, put it in brush cleaner bottle, stir a couple of times, and then put it back in the top coat bottle.

9. Apply another layer of top coat to increase the shine after the 1st layer dries completely.

10. Repeat the above steps to finish all the other nails.
